Looks like Scaled Composites is close to putting tourists into space. Last week Scaled Composites test flew their space vehicle up over 200,000 feet, or about 40 miles. From what I can gather, it performed exceptionally well sans a "dash board" glitch.

They're going for one more test flight, followed by the real thing later this year.
