Luck is finally turning in my direction.

I won a $50 amazon.com gift certificate. Two weeks ago, I won free tickets to Ruby Skye in San Fran. Last week, I duplicated that effort and again won free tickets to Ruby Skye. What's most scary is what happened this past Friday.

Jason invited me to the Starlite Ballroom. As he brought a guest, he was entered into a raffle. With confidence, I proclaimed he would win. No doubt in my mind. Later that night - yes, he won! Five months of free one-on-one dance lessons. Valued at $450.

I suppose it's also worth mentioning that Ruby Skye two weeks ago was awesome. It wasn't packed full. I actually had room to move my arms and legs. Most noteworthy in attendance was a group of six ladies holding bachelorette party. They had cards noting things they were supposed to do. One of the things on the list was "take a picture of a man in a thong." Much to my disbelief, there was in fact a man in the club wearing a thong, and he did allow the bachelorette party to take a picture.

Ruby Skye this last week was crazy. Turns out it was Dimitrius Mykonos' party. (Dimitrius is a local underground celebrity, as much an oxymoron as that sounds.)

All right, that's it for now. I'm off to purchase a lottery ticket...
