I know there are atleast four moms reading this blog. To all of you, I wish you a great Mother's Day, and a terrific week to go along with it.

I called my mom today and she seemed a bit down. I think mostly because her two "babies" are thousands of miles away from home. I'm in California, and my brother is in Virginia. Mom's right in the middle, in Texas.

I wouldn't be where I am today without my mom. I live a very happy life every day. I'm sure my brother feels the same way about his life. So, mom, thank you for all the things you did for us when we were growing up.

I love you, mom!

Awwww. What a nice post.

And Eric's Mom - he has always said such nice things about you. You sound like a wonderful mom!

I couldn't have said it better.
Mom
Hi Eric! Sad but true, I do miss my two fella's! I am so happy that you have great lives and get to choose what you do for a living. The first time I drove through Austin, Texas I said to myself "that is where Stevie and Eric will go to College" and it has worked out wonderfully for both of you, just the way I planned for it to. Thank you both for working to get good grades, for taking care of your business and taking good care of me whenever possible. Whenever anyone mentions to me that they are trying to choose a University, either for their children or for themselves, I always tell them how much the University of Texas has done for my sons professionally, where would be all be with out UT? I would have responded to this message earlier in the week, but everytime I read it I cried and could not. Thanks, Eric and Stevie, for choosing me to be your Mom...remember...the Best is Yet to Be! Love from Mom PS...I printed Eric's message out and posted it on my fridge.
