My contract with my domain registrar is coming to an end. My contract with my hosting service is coming to an end. Both of them have raised their prices, so I'm not so keen on renewing with either of them. Thus both a domain transfer and hosting transfer seem likely for ejgumtow.com.

During the transfer, ejgumtow.com will be down for several days, or perhaps a couple weeks if I screw things up.

What I'd really like to do is not pay a hosting service at all. I'd like to move everything to my computer at my home. However, my contract with Comcast is expiring soon as well, and I may decide to switch if Comcast increases their rates too much.

I don't know when ejgumtow.com will go down. Probably soon, within a few days.

I don't know when ejgumtow.com will come back up. To be notified, you can either follow my Twitter feed or add my RSS feed to your news aggregator.

did a common for me to do Mom thing, I forgot my twitter password...! With Obama's tax hikes, every cent these days really counts, doesn't it?

..and I'm back up. Just a few hours of down time.

Some replies are missing off this entry, but otherwise everything is fine I think. Please let me know if something doesn't work.
