Base molding makes all the difference. I had no idea it makes a room look so much nicer! At this point, in certain rooms, the house from three months ago would not be recognized as the same house even if you put them side-by-side.

WOW! Sure looks super! It looks like you put in allot of really hard work and that it took allot of time. It looks perfect. You did a great job, remember that absolute perfecton is not called for; it is the overall project in the end that turns out great that really matters.

hmmm...would look perfect if you had them nailed in.

I'll happily nail them in to place. My rate is $50 per hour. Alternatively, telling other people how to do it is still free.

I like the molding you picked out. Good choice.

The house is coming together so nicely! The floors & the molding looks really good!

On another note, we are so excited you both are coming for Thanksgiving. It will be so fun!!

The floors & molding *look* really good. Sorry about the improper verb usage. :(

I, myself, am a glue person; no nails, no nail holes to fill in, no noisy hammer, no smashed fingers possible, no problem. Of course if you ever have to remove those base-boards and they have been glued down, you would have the glue to contend with, which could cause some people to lose their tempers. My sweet husband hates my glue usage policy, he has been on the warpath against the glue, but I still like the glue; I would use it on the Christmas and Birthday gifts if I could find any glue that would stick as needed, without compromising the gifts. I glue everything, I won't remind you of the time that I accidentally glued my hand to the wall, and I don't need to talk about the problem that I had with the glued on fingernails anymore...!Staples need not apply.

Looking good! And I see your priorities are in order - the surround sound is all hooked up! =)
