Sometimes my camera blog works well... sometimes not! Hopefully it works tonight. I'll be live blogging from a Rush concert. And by "Rush" I mean the geek band, not the talk radio guy.

Here's the set list:
  1. Limelight
  2. Digital Man
  3. Entre Nous
  4. Mission
  5. Freewill
  6. The Main Monkey Business
  7. The Larger Bowl
  8. Secret Touch
  9. Circumstances
  10. Between The Wheels
  11. Dreamline
  12. Far Cry
  13. Workin' Them Angels
  14. Armor And Sword
  15. Spindrift
  16. The Way The Wind Blows
  17. Subdivisions
  18. Natural Science
  19. Witch Hunt
  20. MalNar
  21. Drum Solo
  22. Hope
  23. Summertime Blues
  24. The Spirit Of Radio
  25. Tom Sawyer

Neil's solo rocked

hmmm.. it looks like the photos are duplicating somehow? Anyway.. live blogging from a concert is cool :-)

I don't know if you remember a Strawberry Shortcake writing/stamping/coloring kit you got for Faith awhile back... she was so young back then she only scribbled in the notebook and played with the stickers. Well now that she's learning to write and draw actual pictures.. she asked me who "scribbled scrabbled" in her book and I told her she did when she was younger. She asked me if you're suppose to write in the book or scribble scrabble and I told her it was for writing but since she was young, she wanted to scribble scrabble.. so it was okay. Well anyway.. now she asked me how she got that book and I said her Uncle Eric got it for her and she told me how much she still loves her Strawberry Shortcake notebook :-)
Eric —
Lori, I do remember! I'm very happy she likes it. A Dora coloring book probably would have been a better choice, but Dora anything sells out too fast.

As for my live blogging the concert... either cell data transfers are blocked around Shoreline Amphitheater, or Verizon's network was overloaded. Because all my attempted data transfers during the concert were denied.

The concert was great. Subdivisions and Between The Wheels were the highlights for me. The drum solo is always incredible. Neil Peart is not human! Some of the new songs have a nice hook to them.

There's so much material I wish they had time to play. The concert was just over 3 hours, and they could play for 3 more and not satisfy everybody. I can't believe they left out 2112!

What's w/ Geddy Lee's glasses, seems like they're tinted. Great drummer's solo and lighting effects!!!
Eric —
So, Josh shows me his ticket stub today, he and his friend won FRONT ROW TICKETS through a radio station. Row 1, section 102, seat 16.
Josh —
Yes, the view was spectacular. The flames were very hot, though I think the chickens were fake.
Ngan —
See, I told you the chickens are fake...otherwise they would had distributed them during break time.
Eric —
I maintain - the chickens are real. You saw the large number of roadies. Maybe after they're done packing up, they eat all the chickens.
Stacey —
Thanks for the lineup. What kind of seats did you have? We're going 8/14.
Eric —
Lawn seats. The only thing I could see clearly was Geddy's nose.

I think you'll like the show. They sounded in peak form.

I'm guessing you won't be seated on the lawn!

Always liked Rush. Vibrant.

This site is neon-like, very cool. :)
Stacey —
No, actually we're lawn-bound, too. It's a sacrifice.
