I've been tagged by life outside the box.

What were you doing 10 years ago?
Finishing up my last semester at Texas State University, wondering why I ever decided to apply, let alone admit there. Preparing to transfer to The University of Texas.
What were you doing 1 year ago?
On a week-long cruise in and around Hawaii!
5 snacks you enjoy:
Popcorn, Doritos, Nilla Wafers, salted peanuts, toasted peanut butter sandwiches.
5 songs that you know all the lyrics:
I know a lot of song's lyrics. Song lyrics tend to stick in my head quite easily. I'll go with the first five songs off of Dredg's El Cielo.
5 things you would do if you were a millionaire:
Million? Heh. I live in the Bay Area, where a million buys a decent 2 bed, 1 bath, 1 car garage house. I'll retrofit that statement with billionaire...

Make sure my family is set up, buy a house with a nice plot of land, buy a vacation house on the beach somewhere in the Pacific, buy a ticket to the International Space Station, become deeply and personally involved in politics. Sometime ago I would have said, "give it all away, unless I earned it via hard and/or smart work." But now I don't care how I get it, I feel like I've earned it.
5 bad habits:
Staying up too late at night. Not eating fruits and vegetables. Staying up too late at night. Repeating myself. Not using the backspace key. Not limiting myself to five items in strictly five item lists.
5 things you like doing:
Just five? I need more! Driving my car, traveling, eating donuts, playing basketball, rollerblading, writing code, relaxing on the beach, reading WikiPedia, reading non-fiction books, eating pizza, bbq'ing, writing in my blog.
5 things you would never wear again:
Long tube socks with color stripes at the tops, Kaepa shoes with the detachable color triangles, Nike basketball shoes, high water blue jeans, "radioactive" slim tie. The Nike basketball shoes needs more written. I always used Nike shoes, and I sprained my ankles quite frequently, multiple times per year. About two years ago I switched to Adidas, and I've sprained my right ankle just once, and never the left.
5 favorite toys:
Pretty much any technology gadget. So I'll have to go with my laptop, my cell phone, the server you're reading this from, my MojoPac, and my wireless home network.

Your cell phone is your favorite toy?? hmmm...I guess you could use it as a weapon

5 for each category... this is going to be a long thread.

10 years ago... Living in Clute, TX and working my first job after college for Dow Chemical.

1 year ago... found out I was going to be a dad on June 12th, 2006!

Snacks... Popcorn, ice cream, pizza, peanut butter crackers, carrots. I think that's all the food groups, yeah?

Songs I know... I remember singing Van Halen in the Caprice and you screaming at me to shut up. "You think you sound good, but you don't!!" Bet I still know some of those lyrics.

Million dollars... Build the world's biggest set of concrete speakers.

Bad habits... Staying up late, driving too fast, watching Futurama, eating candy, sweating profusely.

Likes... Buying tools, watching tv, eating junk food, building stuff, going to Costco

Never wear again... never say never!

favorite toys... table saw, jointer, miter saw, computer at work, watching Mallory in her Jumperoo.

Eric (and Stevie) please forgive me for those soul-scarring horrible striped toob socks, I knew not what I done when I done it. :-0 Love from Mom
Amanda —
Strangely, most of Steve's "likes" correspond with his "bad habits." :)

If I had a million dollars, I would pay off the house and set up college funds for Mallory and future children. I don't know if there would be money left over for "the world's biggest set of concrete speakers"... I guess it's just best not to have a million dollars. :)
Stacey —
I had given up on you. I should know better. =)
